ACHD Commissioner · District 3

Sean Sundwall Real Road Solutions for Real Problems

Ada County is growing fast, and our roads are falling behind. Sean has watched another region let traffic get away from it — and he's not willing to let that happen here. Listen. Action. Accountability.

Sean Sundwall, candidate for ACHD Commissioner, District 3

Meet Sean

Sean Sundwall is a proud husband, a father of seven, and a grandfather of two. For more than 15 years he has owned and operated his own insurance agency — the kind of experience where you answer to your customers, live within a budget, and get results or lose the business.

When he's not working, Sean is a private pilot and an avid runner who has recently taken up swimming.

Sean is running for ACHD Commissioner because he has watched a growing region let its roads fall behind before. He's not willing to let that happen in the Treasure Valley. District 3 deserves a commissioner who will listen, take action, and be held accountable for results.

🛣️

Build Roads That Actually Move People and Commerce

ACHD's core mission is roads. Sean will prioritize capacity, congestion relief, and on-time project delivery over pet projects, and push to fast-track projects that have languished in the Five-Year Work Plan.

📈

Get Ahead of Growth Instead of Chasing It

Growth is coming whether we’re ready for it or not. Let’s get ahead of it—with smart planning, responsible development, and the infrastructure our communities need.

💼

Run ACHD Like a Business

Sean will scrutinize operational spending, demand efficiency and accountability, and make sure impact fees and taxpayer dollars go into pavement and capacity — not bureaucracy. Taxpayers deserve maximum road-miles per dollar.
